This is a great chance for a talented commercial litigator (3-5 PQE) to join an award-winning boutique firm with a progressive, client-focused approach to legal practice. The role offers exposure to varied, interesting and high-quality matters, including commercial litigation, media and defamation law, employment, insurance disputes and other complex disputes.
You will be working closely with experienced practitioners and will be involved in a broad range of litigation matters from the early stages through to resolution. The work will be varied and will include contractual disputes, advisory work, pre-litigation strategy, pleadings, evidence preparation, interlocutory applications, mediation and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare advice across a range of litigation matters
- Correspondence, affidavits, witness statements, briefs to counsel and court documents
- Assist with the management of matters from commencement through to settlement, mediation,
hearing or trial
- Work directly with clients, counsel, and expert witnesses
- Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, commercial and client-focused solutions
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing and supportive team environment
