Luna Park Melbourne is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Attractions Manager to lead the daily operation of one of Australia's most recognised and loved entertainment destinations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll lead a large and diverse Attractions team responsible for rides, games, seasonal attractions and park operations. This is a hands on leadership role where no two days are the same.

About the Role
As Attractions Manager, you will be responsible for the secure, efficient and successful day-to-day operation of the Attractions Department.
You will lead a team of Team Leaders, Ride Attendants, Game Attendants and seasonal team members, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, presentation and operational excellence are consistently achieved.
Working closely with the Operations Leadership Team, you will help shape the guest experience while driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of rides, games and seasonal attractions.
- Foster a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
- Coach, mentor and develop Team Leaders and frontline team members.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and effectively resolve guest enquiries and feedback.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
- Prepare department rosters and manage labour budgets.
- Monitor departmental performance, stock control and financial outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational readiness across the Park.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to new operational projects.
- Act as a Duty Manager and Area Warden when required.
About You
We're looking for a confident and approachable leader who enjoys building capable teams and creating memorable guest experiences.
You'll ideally bring
- Previous leadership experience within attractions, theme parks, hospitality, tourism, leisure, entertainment or a similar operational environment.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience managing large frontline teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance.
- Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence working with rostering, budgets and operational reporting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, public holidays and peak seasonal periods.
- A current employee Working With Children’s Check.

Physical Requirements
This role is active and hands-on. You will regularly work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and should be comfortable walking throughout the Park, working at heights when required, and performing moderate manual handling tasks.
