Madonna Electric is a Brunswick pizza restaurant with an Italo-Australian soul, a loyal following, and a bar that deserves someone who'll actually push it forward — not just maintain it.

We're after an experienced bar professional to take full charge of the bar, Thursday to Monday, and bring a genuine level of craft and consistency to service, recipes, and stock. Alongside that, you'll spend part of your week helping us create content and bring our paid social advertising in-house.

This is a full-time, salaried role — not a casual shift gig. If you're looking for your next long-term home in hospitality, not a stopgap, we want to hear from you.

The Role

Bar Management (approx 30/week, Thurs–Mon)

- Responsible for stock discipline — ordering, par levels, stocktakes, and reducing shrinkage/wastage
- Sets and holds a consistent standard for beverage execution and service style across every shift
- Develops and refines recipes and batch systems — genuine R&D;, not just following a sheet
- Manages beverage cost of goods sold to an agreed target
- Runs bar service and is the go-to for any bar issue during trade
- Willing to work the floor when required — this isn't a role to hide behind the bar

Content & Marketing (6 hrs/week)





- Works with us to plan and shoot content — stills and short-form video of the bar, drinks, and service
- Brings Meta and TikTok paid advertising in-house — no more agency middleman
- Some creative input expected, alongside direction from ownership

What You'll Be Measured On (reviewed at 3-month probation)

- Beverage COGS held within a tight 25% target
- Bar stocktake and inventory process converted into a documented, repeatable system
- Pieces of content created and posted per week
- Demonstrated ability to plan and run Meta/TikTok paid ad campaigns in-house

You

- Minimum 2 years' hospitality experience
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- A genuine bar professional — you know stock, recipes, and batch systems inside out
- You love a clean bar as much as we do
- Comfortable stepping onto the floor when service needs it
- Some familiarity with Square POS is a plus, not a requirement
- Looking for a real, long-term role — not your next stopover
