Bullys barbershop is seeking a skilled and passionate Barber/Hairdresser to join our team on a casual or part time basis. Discussions on fulltime hrs available for those interested. As a Barber/Hairdresser, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional grooming services to our diverse clientele, helping them look and feel their best whilst building lasting relationships with our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Providing professional barbering and hairdressing services, including haircuts and beard grooming. No cut throat experience needed
- Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and recommending suitable styles
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all grooming tools and work areas
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with regular clients to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Keeping up to date with current trends and techniques in barbering
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming appearance and demeanour at all times
- Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
- Recognised qualification or apprenticeship in barbering or hairdressing
- Strong skills in cutting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Professionalism, reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility to work various shifts including Saturday mornings
- Current knowledge of health and safety standards, including hygiene protocols in barbering and hairdressing
- A genuine passion for the barbering and hairdressing industry
