About the role
TinRoof Ballarat is seeking a talented Barista & All-rounder to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is a part-time position based in Ballarat, VIC 3350, offering the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about exceptional coffee, customer service, and creating memorable experiences. As a Barista & All-rounder, you will be the face of our establishment, crafting quality beverages and supporting all aspects of bar and service operations.
This role is integral to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere and high service standards that define TinRoof Ballarat.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a barista or in a similar hospitality role, with demonstrated coffee-making skills
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and the ability to create consistent, quality beverages
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part-time hours including potential weekend.
- A current or willingness to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Team player mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is highly desirable
