Please apply through our internalCareers Portal Job Category: Community Services & Development THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Beyond the Gates Caseworker to join our team at St Bede's Catholic College, Chisholm, in a temporary full-time maternity relief role for six (6) months. Working closely with the school's Wellbeing Team, you will support vulnerable students to remain engaged with their education, families and broader community.

As part of a collaborative partnership between CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning and the Catholic Schools Office, you will provide targeted case management, outreach and home visit support, helping students and families access the services they need to thrive. This rewarding role extends the care and support of Catholic schools beyond the classroom, building stronger connections, improving wellbeing and creating positive outcomes for young people. Some after‑hours work and collaboration with interagency networks will be required to provide responsive, holistic support.

Office and CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning has formed a collaborative partnership to enhance the wellbeing of students and their families attending specific High Schools and feeder Primary Schools. The Beyond the Gates worker will be an employee of CatholicCare Social Services Hunter Manning (Clinical Services Team) but will be based at the nominated School in the Wellbeing Teams. The purpose of this position is to support and encourage vulnerable students to remain linked up with the schools and the wider communities.

The role will involve community outreach and home visiting while working alongside families to enhance their engagement in services. The role will enhance the link between the schools and students.
