Kangaroo Island Landscape Board
Kangaroo Island
**Company Description The Kangaroo Island Landscape Board works with the local community to care for the island’s land, water, coast and biodiversity while supporting productive, sustainable agriculture.
Established under the Landscape South Australia Act 2019, the Board works in partnership with landholders, primary producers, community groups, Traditional Owners, researchers, volunteers and government agencies to improve the health and resilience of Kangaroo Island’s landscapes.
Our work spans biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, pest plant and animal management, biosecurity, water resources, climate resilience and environmental education. Through practical on-ground programs, strategic investment and strong partnerships, we help protect what makes Kangaroo Island unique while supporting thriving communities and productive landscapes.
Everything we do is guided by our values of Trust, Collaboration and Impact. We believe the best outcomes are achieved by working together, valuing diverse perspectives and focusing on practical actions that create lasting benefits for Kangaroo Island.
Together, Board Members help shape the future of one of Australia’s most unique and internationally recognised island environments.
