Established in 2008, BMJ Industries is a family owned and operated engineering company providing support and services to a range of industries. With our roots deep in the underground mining sector, BMJs highly skilled workforce has over 150 years combined experience in Engineering, Mining, Fabrication and Hydraulics sales and service.
Our specially designed facility utilises 2000m2 of workshop floorspace including designated Hydraulics area, Machine shop with CNC and manual turning / milling capability, component overhaul bays, Stores / dispatch area and a separate fabrication workshop.
We are looking for a Casual Boilermaker to join our team with the potential for full time employment.
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Immediate start
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder
- Mig and Tig welding on mild steel, Stainless and Aluminium
- Drivers Licence
- Experience with aluminium & stainless steel fabrication
- A reliable person with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work within a team and Individually
- Riggers Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift License (desirable)

Job Information
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Operate welding equipment
- Perform a range of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and arc
- Weld parts for machine rebuilds
- Fabricate parts and attachments for new machine builds
- Safely operate workshop equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes and tools
- Maintain a safe working workplace
