About the role The Business Partner - HR partners with the business to provide expert HR, ER and IR coaching, advice and support to facilitate the achievement of Orica's Business Goals and HR strategy. What you will be doing Key AccountabilitiesProvides advice and support to line managers to assist them to resolve ER issues including performance management and discipline.Drives HR Policy implementation at a local levelWorks with the Regional HR Employee Services teamsPlans, advises and responds to emerging issuesCoaches Managers one-to- oneConducts investigations as requiredImplements organisational wide projects at local level as requiredUnderstands local collective agreements in the region, including negotiation involvements as requiredReviews of regional industrial relations trends and the provision of ER/IR advice to the businessPartners with the COE to deliver specialist functional services, manage the relationship, ensure the COE is aware of the region/site requirements and ensure delivery against agreed standards of serviceMay support Senior Manager in the delivery of the HR Monthly Dashboard report to the Functional streams within region / business unit.
What you will bring BAND E PEOPLE LEADER - Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships - Financial accumen & budgeting experience. BAND E TECHNICAL SPECIALIST - Minimum 7 years experience post skilled qualification.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships - Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
