Are you a skilled Cabinet Maker who takes pride in producing quality workmanship? Do you enjoy seeing a project through from the workshop to the final installation? At AKT Construction, we're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team. This isn't repetitive production-line work—you'll be involved in a variety of residential and commercial projects, creating custom cabinetry and high-quality fit-outs that you can genuinely be proud of.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll split your time between our workshop and on-site installations, giving you plenty of variety throughout the week.
Your work will include
- Manufacturing and assembling custom cabinetry from shop drawings and cutting lists
- Installing cabinetry to a high standard across residential and commercial projects
- Reading and interpreting plans,
drawings and hardware specifications
- Operating workshop machinery, hand tools and CNC equipment (where applicable)
- Working alongside our Project Managers, Draftsperson and wider construction team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Delivering quality workmanship that you can take pride in
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys producing quality work and is a reliable member of the team.
You'll ideally have
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or significant industry experience
- The ability to confidently read plans and work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
- A current White Card and Australian Driver's Licence
- A positive attitude, robust work ethic and team-first approach
- Australian working rights or a valid work visa
Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)
- CNC experience
- Forklift licence
