About the Client: Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom commercial and educational furniture, the company delivers tailored fit-out solutions that combine functionality, durability, and contemporary design. They provide end-to-end services for a diverse range of sectors, including schools, libraries, corporate offices, and aged care facilities. From initial concept and bespoke manufacturing through to professional installation, their experienced team creates high-quality environments that are designed to meet the unique needs of each client while enhancing comfort, productivity, and long-term performance.
What You Will Be Doing:
The role involves interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists to manufacture custom cabinetry and furniture, operating a range of workshop machinery, power tools, and forklifts while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key responsibilities include cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing cabinetry components, fitting hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, drawers, and shelving, and assisting with the assembly of furniture and other production tasks as required to meet project deadlines.
The position also includes installing completed cabinetry and fixtures in office,
receiving and dispatching deliveries when required, and consistently adhering to workplace health and safety (OH&S;) standards to ensure quality workmanship and compliance across all aspects of production and installation.
What You Will Need:
- Cert III in Cabinet Making
- Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical
