As a Category Manager - Professional Services, you will oversee procurement activities to manage category strategies, predominantly IT and supplier relationships effectively. This temporary position is based in Melbourne's South East.

- Develop and implement category management strategies to optimise procurement processes.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to meet organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies and regulations.
- Monitor category performance and provide regular reporting to management.
- Drive cost savings and value creation initiatives within the professional services category.

Profile A successful Category Manager - Professional Services should have:





- Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong experience in category management within qualified services, ideally string in IT.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier performance.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.

Job Offer

- Hourly rate of $80 - $85 + super.
- Temporary position offering flexibility and valuable experience.
- 3 days on site
