About the Role Contribute to the safe and reliable management of AGL's dam assets as a Civil Engineer (Dam Safety & Projects). This is an 18‑month fixed‑term contract based at Bayswater Power Station (Muswellbrook, NSW). You will provide engineering expertise across dam safety, surveillance, monitoring, asset management and project delivery activities.

Responsibilities - Provide engineering support across dam safety, surveillance, monitoring, risk management and asset management activities.

- Develop and review technical documentation, engineering solutions and project scopes to support infrastructure upgrades, rehabilitation programmes and ongoing asset performance.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to deliver dam safety and civil infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Implement, monitor and report on dam surveillance and inspection programmes, including the management of instrumentation systems and associated data collection processes.
- Contribute to asset reliability, compliance and project outcomes through the application of engineering best practice and innovative solutions.

Qualifications - Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.

- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering, dam engineering, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure, construction or project delivery, preferably involving declared dam assets.
- Knowledge of dam safety legislation, ANCOLD guidelines, surveillance, monitoring and instrumentation systems,



and ability to apply engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience using project and asset management systems such as SAP, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar.
