About Us The City of Perth is committed to creating a vibrant, connected and sustainable capital city. Our Infrastructure and Assets team plays a vital role in maintaining the City's roads, footpaths, drainage systems and public spaces, ensuring they remain safe, functional and well-presented for residents, businesses and visitors.

The Opportunity

As a Civil Maintenance Worker, you'll be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering civil maintenance and construction works across the City. Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance, you'll undertake a variety of tasks involving roads, footpaths, drainage, cycleways and associated infrastructure while contributing to high-quality service delivery and representing the City professionally.

What You'll Be Doing

- Carry out maintenance and repair works on roads, footpaths, drainage infrastructure, cycleways and retaining walls.
- Complete paving, kerbing, concreting and other civil construction activities to a high standard.
- Safely operate and maintain a range of plant, machinery, equipment and hand tools.




- Install and maintain traffic management signage and barriers while working safely and delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience operating plant and equipment within a civil construction or maintenance environment.
- Has practical experience in road construction, drainage, paving, concreting or kerbing works.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace health, safety and safe work practices.
- Works collaboratively, communicates effectively and takes pride in delivering quality work.

A current MR Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White) Card are essential.
