True North Personnel is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a highly regarded civil construction contractor delivering civil infrastructure and construction projects across the Northern Territory.

This is an exciting chance for a hands-on and safety-focused supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day site operations. You will play a key role in coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About the Role

Reporting to the Civil Manager, you will be responsible for supervising civil construction activities on site and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with program requirements.

Key responsibilities include

- Supervising day-to-day civil construction activities on site
- Leading and coordinating crews, subcontractors, suppliers and plant
- Planning daily works and allocating labour, equipment and materials
- Monitoring site progress against project programs and targets
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
- Maintaining compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and project documentation
- Conducting toolbox meetings, pre-starts and site inspections
- Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, clients and stakeholders
- Providing leadership, mentoring and support to site-based teams

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Australian-based experience as a Civil Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar within civil construction and infrastructure, ideally within the Northern Territory
- Strong site leadership and people management capability
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate crews, plant, subcontractors and materials




- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, site safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, plans and specifications
- Construction White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Highly regarded:
- Relevant civil construction or supervision qualifications
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within the Northern Territory
- Experience supervising multiple work fronts or crews
