About the role

Acan Group Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Melbourne, This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and manage cleaning operations across multiple sites.

As Cleaning

Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained, and implementing efficient cleaning procedures. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across assigned sites, ensuring all work is completed to company standards and client specifications
- Train, mentor and motivate cleaning staff, providing ongoing performance feedback and professional development opportunities
- Monitor inventory and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and reported
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to verify compliance with health and safety standards and cleaning protocols
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet client requirements and service standards
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service delivery, addressing concerns and maintaining strong working relationships
- Report on cleaning operations, including work completed, staff performance and any incidents or issues that require escalation
- Ensure all cleaning staff adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations,



including proper use of equipment and chemicals
- Investigate and resolve complaints from clients or team members promptly and professionally

What we're looking for

- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience within the cleaning services industry
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, techniques and products relevant to various facility types
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions to resolve operational challenges
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance standards
- Physical fitness and capability to perform cleaning tasks when required
- Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and sites
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in quality assurance
- Working knowledge of common cleaning equipment and machinery
- Relevant certification in cleaning services, occupational health and safety or supervisory qualifications is advantageous
