About the Role As a Customs Broker at FedEx, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end customs clearances while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and customer service. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal operational teams, and government authorities to deliver seamless import and export outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Lodging import and export declarations and managing customs entries from start to finish - Ensuring accurate tariff classification, valuation, and application of relevant Australian customs, quarantine, and other regulations - Collecting, reviewing, and interpreting shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance - Providing value-added advisory services, including duty minimisation strategies, tariff concessions, and duty drawback advice - Liaising with clients, internal freight and transport teams, and government agencies - Managing multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Skills &
Experience - Licensed Customs Broker (essential) - Proven experience in import/export customs clearance operations - Strong knowledge of Australian customs legislation, tariff classification, and valuation - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively across customs, freight forwarding, and transport teams What We Offer - Career growth and progression: At FedEx,
