Clinical Manager – Blue Care – Caloundra Aged Care Facility Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

Location: Caloundra Aged Care Facility

Remuneration: $68.95 – $70.43 per hour (dependent on experience) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day clinical leadership, ensuring care delivery aligns with best practice, legislation and quality standards.

- Lead, coach and mentor clinical and care teams, creating a capable, confident and high‑performing workforce.
- Act as the escalation point for complex clinical issues, applying strong judgement and evidence‑based decision‑making.
- Oversee comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning, ensuring care is responsive to individual needs and goals.
- Drive clinical governance and risk management, including proactive management of key risks such as falls, wounds and infection control.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with internal processes, audits and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a strong culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance care quality and service delivery.
- Build robust relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals to support coordinated, holistic care.
- Partner with the Residential Services Manager to ensure clinical governance, AN‑ACC funding integrity and sustainable service outcomes.

Qualifications - Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.

- Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within aged care.




- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in clinical governance, quality standards and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of aged care funding models (AN‑ACC) and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Postgraduate qualifications in aged care, clinical leadership or a related specialty (desirable).
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
