On Offer - 2–3 month contract opportunity - Hourly rate of $82.25 - $101.25 per hour inc casual loading + super (depending on experience) - Subsidised accommodation provided - Opportunity to lead an established multidisciplinary youth mental health team - Work within a nationally recognised headspace service - Meaningful role supporting young people, families and community wellbeing - Immediate commencement available The Role Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across a busy headspace service. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for young people aged 12-25 years while supporting clinicians, managing service demand and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include

- Providing clinical leadership, consultation and support to multidisciplinary clinicians and allied health professionals - Leading clinical review meetings, case discussions and clinical governance activities - Managing referrals, service demand, waitlists and client flow to ensure timely access to care - Providing formal and informal supervision, mentoring and professional development to clinical staff - Supporting evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and psychoeducation approaches - Monitoring clinical quality, risk management and compliance with relevant governance frameworks - Building and maintaining strong relationships with community providers,



consortium partners and external stakeholders - Supporting service development, health promotion initiatives and integrated care pathways for young people and families - Contributing to strategic planning, reporting requirements and continuous quality improvement activities - Maintaining a small clinical caseload during periods of increased service demand where required About You - Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or a related discipline - Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with AASW or relevant professional body - Demonstrated leadership experience within youth, mental health or community health settings - Strong clinical assessment, intervention and risk management skills working with young people and families - Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and support to multidisciplinary teams - Sound understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and mental health service delivery frameworks - Experience managing competing priorities, service demand and workforce coordination - Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills - Understanding of culturally safe practice and social and emotional wellbeing principles, particularly for First Nations communities - Current Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification This chance would suit an experienced clinician looking to step into a leadership-focused contract role while making a genuine impact on youth mental health outcomes within a regional community.
