We are seeking an experienced CNC Mazak Milling Machine Operator to join a well-established precision engineering workshop in Acacia Ridge.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity working with high-end Mazak equipment in a clean, modern workshop. You will complete varied general engineering work, including components for cement trucks, Franna cranes and defence projects.

- Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday
- Day shift: 5:55 am-2:20 pm
- Afternoon shift: 2:10 pm-12:10 am
- Clean, modern workshop with high-quality equipment
Your duties will include
- Setting up and operating Mazak CNC milling machines
- Manufacturing high-quality components to specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Completing accurate measurements and quality checks
- Producing repeat components and completing diverse general engineering work
- Monitoring machinery and making necessary operating adjustments
- Following all workplace safety and quality procedures
To be successful, you will have
- Previous CNC milling machine experience
- Experience operating Mazak or similar high-end CNC equipment
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Confidence using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A good understanding of machining tolerances
- A current LF forklift licence is desirable but not essential
- A safety-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
