Shape the commercial future of one of Australia's fastest-growing renewable energy platform. Some commercial leadership roles ask you to optimise an established business. This is not one of them.

This is an chance to design the commercial engine that will underpin the next phase of growth for a major renewable energy platform as it evolves into a long-term owner and operator of utility-scale generation and storage assets.

Reporting directly to the Australian executive leadership team, you will have the mandate to build the commercial operating model, establish portfolio contracting strategy and lead the commercialisation of a growing portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who combines deep Australian energy market expertise with the commercial judgement to move opportunities from concept through to execution.

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy of a rapidly expanding renewable energy business.

Working across development, finance, investment and operations, you will lead the commercial transition from project development into long-term asset ownership, ensuring the business is positioned to maximise value throughout the lifecycle of its portfolio.

This is a genuine executive leadership position where you will influence investment decisions, develop commercial capability and establish the systems, governance and commercial disciplines required to support significant long-term growth.





What You'll Be Responsible For

- Developing the commercial operating model for a growing renewable generation portfolio
- Leading Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) origination, negotiation and execution
- Developing portfolio-wide contracting and merchant revenue strategies
- Commercialising wind, solar and battery energy storage assets
- Building revenue optimisation capability and operational readiness
- Providing strategic market intelligence across the National Electricity Market (NEM)
- Supporting investment decisions, acquisitions and commercial due-diligence
- Leading and developing a high-performing commercial team
- Working closely with executive leadership to shape long-term business strategy

About You

We are interested in speaking with commercially minded leaders who have built credibility through delivery rather than theory.

- You will likely bring:
- Extensive experience within the Australian National Electricity Market
- Strong understanding of merchant energy markets and revenue optimisation
- Proven experience negotiating and executing complex PPAs
- Demonstrated success commercialising renewable generation and/or battery storage projects




- Experience operating within an Independent Power Producer (IPP), utility, developer, retailer or energy trading environment.
- Outstanding commercial and financial judgement

Experience leading senior teams while remaining comfortable working hands-on when required

Most importantly, you will have a track record of turning commercial opportunities into executed outcomes.
