Approach Consulting is seeking EOIs for upcoming commercial finance roles.

Working into Defence, you'll be leading complex procurement activities and managing high-value contracts across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle, providing commercial and finance expertise that shapes outcomes at a strategic level.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading development of procurement strategies, RFT documentation, tender evaluation plans and evaluation reports across complex acquisition and sustainment programs
- Building Commonwealth approval submissions and managing the procurement schedule end-to-end
- Managing ASDEFCON contracts — processing contract changes, reviewing deliverables, managing contractor performance and developing contract management plans
- Supporting negotiations with prime contractors
- Providing senior-level commercial and finance advice to delegates and stakeholders
- Identifying and managing commercial and finance risk
- Assuring compliance with procurement policy




- Preparing internal briefs, approval submissions and reports

What you'll bring:

- Significant experience in Commonwealth procurement and contract management at a senior level — ASDEFCON experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of tendering, evaluation and contract administration processes
- Confidence advising senior delegates and stakeholders on complex commercial matters
- Sound judgement on commercial and finance risk
- Excellent written skills
- Current Australian Defence security clearance required (or ability to obtain one)
