n About the Role

n Reporting to the IST Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate will provide specialist technical expertise across Talison's Corporate IT and Operational Technology (OT) communications and network infrastructure. This hands‐on, site‐based role supports the critical communications systems that underpin mining operations, safety and production across site.

n Working across both IT and OT environments, you will design, implement, support and continuously improve technologies including fibre and copper networks, routed IP networks, Wi‐Fi, digital radio, private LTE and point‐to‐point wireless systems. Combining operational support with project delivery and solution design, you will play a key role in ensuring our communications infrastructure remains reliable, secure and fit for purpose.

- Provide operational support for site communications and network infrastructuren
- Maintain and troubleshoot fibre, wireless, radio, LTE, and IP networking systemsn
- Respond to incidents and resolve communications and network issuesn
- Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new technology deploymentsn




- Contribute to solution design, testing, and commissioning activitiesn
- Collaborate with site operations, automation, and technical teamsn
- Drive continuous improvement across communications and network environmentsn
- Ensure communications systems remain reliable, secure, and fit for purposen

n About the Candidate:

n

- n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent industry experiencen
- Experience in communications, telecommunications or network engineering, ideally within mining or other operational environmentsn
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching and network design principlesn
- Hands‐on experience with wireless communications technologies, including digital radio, LTE and point‐to‐point wireless systemsn
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting communications and network infrastructure in high‐availability environmentsn
- Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and operational stakeholdersn
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent will be highly regardedn
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT),



industrial networking or radio communications environments will be advantageousn
