Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Limited (NCCCA) is a not-for-profit provider of residential and community aged care services in the Cessnock local government area. We are seeking passionate and experienced Community Carers who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others within our local community.

Position Details We have both part-time and casual opportunities available

Part-time

- Guaranteed 20 hours per week
- Opportunity to work additional hours based on client needs

Casual
- Hours offered based on client demand

Availability Requirement (all Applicants)

- Must be available Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Flexibility within these hours is essential to meet client needs

Key Responsibilities

- Providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes
- Assisting with daily living tasks including personal care, domestic assistance, community access and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to maintain independence,



dignity and wellbeing
- Building positive, qualified, respectful relationships with clients and their families

About You

- Passionate about supporting people in your local community
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role Requirements

- Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 2026 Influenza Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NSW Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- HLTHPS007 Administer and Monitor Medications (desirable)
