Community Registered Nurse – Mental Health Responsibilities - Conducting mental health triage, assessment, and crisis intervention.
- Supporting people’s recovery journey by linking them with GPs, pharmacists, and other care providers.
- Delivering safe medication management and education.
- Advocating for consumers, promoting social inclusion, and reducing stigma.
- Building therapeutic relationships that respect dignity, boundaries, and recovery principles.
Qualifications - Current AHPRA registration (post‑grad in Mental Health or Addictions desirable).
- Experience in mental health nursing, ideally in community settings.
- Strong assessment, care planning, and medication management skills.
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a multidisciplinary team.
- A recovery‑focused approach and genuine respect for diversity,
including Aboriginal, CaLD, LGBTIQ+, and people with disabilities.
Essential requirements WA driver’s licence, National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate, and Working with Children Check.
Contract Details
This role is a fixed‑term full‑time role until June 2027 offering 75 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday).
