Description:

Help Strengthen Local Communities Through Education

Do you enjoy connecting with people, supporting your community, and helping others build a better future?

We’re looking for a passionate and community-minded Community Program Coordinator to support learners across regional and remote communities throughout South Australia.

This position is about building trusted relationships within local communities, helping people feel supported and confident to begin their education journey, and creating opportunities for individuals to build meaningful careers in early childhood education and care close to home.

You’ll become a key local connector — working alongside learners, families, trainers, local organisations, community groups, and employers to help make education more accessible, welcoming, and achievable for people living in regional areas.

As this initiative grows across communities, this role has the opportunity to become an important part of strengthening local capability, community engagement, and workforce development in places where connection and support matter most. At the heart of this role is community connection.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term, community-based role located in Kingston, requiring 11.4 hours per week,

worked over 1.5 or 2 days.

Supporting learners across their full journey—from first enquiry and enrolment through to completion and graduation—you'll help coordinate face-to-face classroom programs within the local community, ensuring learners feel supported, informed, connected, and confident every step of the way.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where relationships matter. You'll be the bridge between learners, trainers, local services, and community networks, helping remove barriers to education and creating opportunities for people to build meaningful careers in early childhood education and care.

Your work will contribute to stronger local capability, greater community connection, and better access to education in regional South Australia.

Work with Trainers and internal teams to support positive learner outcomes

Coordinate practical placements with local early childhood centres

Maintain accurate learner records and program documentation

Celebrate learner milestones, including graduations and community events

About You
