Role Description The Compliance Analyst / Governance Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and governance activities across the company’s solar projects and operations. This role involves monitoring relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and helping ensure company policies, procedures, and documentation remain accurate and up to date.

The specialist will review contracts, customer agreements, and internal processes for compliance risks, perform basic auditing and control checks, and prepare clear reports and recommendations for leadership. Day-to-day work includes analyzing data related to compliance and finance, coordinating with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, and assisting in the development of governance frameworks and guidelines that support ethical, transparent, and compliant business practices.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Regulatory Compliance and an understanding of governance frameworks relevant to energy or utilities.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends,



and assess risk.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly in writing and verbally.
- Basic knowledge of Finance concepts, particularly as they relate to compliance, reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with Auditing activities such as process reviews, control testing, and documentation assessment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and organized documentation.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, part time environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams when needed.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Law, Public Policy, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in compliance, governance, or risk management in energy, utilities, or a regulated industry is a plus.
