About the role

We are seeking one to two reliable and motivated Casual Console Operators to join our teams across Bass Hill and Merrylands. The successful applicants must be willing and able to work at both locations and have broad availability across weekdays and weekends. The primary shifts requiring coverage are:

- 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- 10:00 pm to 5:00 am

Reporting directly to the relevant Retail Store Manager and supported by an accessible leadership and Head Office team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of both stores. Your key duties will include:
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service
- Processing payments and handling cash
- Upselling products as part of the customer experience
- Keeping up to date with store products and promotions
- Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
- Ensuring the store and forecourt are maintained to a professional standard
- Maintaining a secure working setting

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Australian work rights




- A minimum of three months’ retail or hospitality experience
- Broad availability across weekdays and weekends
- Availability to work afternoon and overnight shifts, particularly from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 5:00 am
- The ability and willingness to work across both the Bass Hill and Merrylands stores
- Reliable transport to attend shifts at both locations
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A keen eye for detail
- An eagerness to learn new skills
- Previous fuel or convenience-store experience is highly regarded but not essential

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of working in a 24-hour environment.

What shifts are available?

The primary shifts requiring coverage are 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 5:00 am across weekdays and weekends. Applicants with limited availability, weekend-only availability or who are unable to work across both locations will not be considered.

All applicants will be subject to pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check and a full medical assessment with drug and alcohol testing.
