Glask Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution and management of our construction contracts.
As Contracts
Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing contract documentation, managing timelines, and facilitating communication between all parties involved in our projects. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, minimising disputes, and supporting the successful delivery of our construction initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and records
- Managing contract timelines, milestones and deadlines to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Liaising between contractors, clients, consultants and internal teams to facilitate effective communication
- Monitoring contract variations and change orders, ensuring proper authorisation and documentation
- Tracking contractual obligations, deliverables and performance metrics throughout project lifecycles
- Preparing contract reports and providing updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Assisting with contract negotiations and identifying potential risks or issues
- Maintaining organised filing systems for contract documentation, both physical and digital
- Supporting the resolution of contract-related queries and disputes
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms, conditions and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or in a similar contracts management role, ideally within the Industrial / Commercial construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including standard contract forms and conditions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in contract documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of contract law principles and compliance requirements
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Certification in contracts management or related qualifications is desirable
