TheCoordinator: Quality and Safety provide strategic leadership toensure our community-based services meet best practice standards.Based in our Rockhampton office, this role oversees compliance,quality systems, risk management and continuous improvement acrossall operations while promoting a strong culture of safety forparticipants and staff. Whatwill a typical day look like?
- Lead thedevelopment and implementation of the Quality and SafetyFramework.
- Coordinatorinternal and external audits, accreditation and correctiveactions.
- Identify risks,lead incident investigations, and conduct roost causeanalysis.
- Drive continuousimprovement through data analysis and teamcollaboration.Promote strongsafety culture and deliver training to build staffcapability.
- Provide expertadvice and mentoring to senior leaders.
- Maintain clearreporting, risk registers and stakeholdercommunication.
MandatoryRequirements
- Tertiaryqualification in Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management or a related field.
- Proven experiencein a quality and safety leadership role, preferably withincommunity sector.
- Strongunderstanding of regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g.,ISO, WH&S;, clinical governance).
- Demonstratedsuccess in leading improvement initiatives and managingrisk.
