Our client, AVID Property Group (AVID) is an award-winningbuilder-developer responsible for a diversified portfolio of residential communities in key growth precincts across Australia's eastern seaboard. AVID are now seeking a property lawyer to join the company and be based in its Melbourne office.

Reporting to the GM Legal and working with the national legal team, you will be responsible for providing legal services for the company's property acquisition, development and sales activities; and managing and overseeing internal compliance with governance processes and policy. Your work will include drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of contracts; managing commercial transactions; providing commercial legal advice; managing compliance; and overseeing the management of litigation and disputes. You will regularly liaise with other members of the team and manage external legal advisers as required.





The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced property lawyer with 3 to 6 years’ post qualification experience. In addition to property law experience, corporate/commercial experience or finance experience is well regarded but not essential. You must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, solid negotiation skills, an ability to build good working relationships, be proactive, work in a team and autonomously, and take a practical, solution focused approach.
