About VIDA ROADS VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough. Road Programs are also delivering dozens of recent roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: Support the Senior Cost Controller in developing, delivering, and maintaining cost controls, systems, and processes, including time phasing budgets, cost variance reporting, cash flow reporting, forecasting, and change management. Develop cutting-edge performance indicators to assess program and project performance, producing regular reports for management and stakeholders with recommendations for performance improvement.
Regularly review and analyse program performance, including trend analysis in cost, and provide sound advice on corrective actions to ensure program and project objectives are achieved. Provide input into the development of innovative cost control initiatives that enhance cost control systems and processes.
Negotiate with and influence key internal and external stakeholders to foster effective relationships related to cost controls, providing sound advice to managers and stakeholders on program and project management activities.
The Cost
Controller is pivotal in aiding the Senior Cost Controller to develop and uphold cost controls, systems, and processes. This role entails analysing program performance, offering insights for corrective actions, and contributing to innovative cost control initiatives. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing month-end cost reporting, negotiating with stakeholders, and actively engaging in the refinement of cost control policies and strategies.
