St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Asquith is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team in a temporary part-time role (0.8 FTE) from 17 August 2026 to 27 January 2027. This position combines classroom teaching and collaborative coaching, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and teacher practice.
St Patrick’s Catholic School, Asquith was established in 1958 by the Sisters of Mercy. The school is situated in close proximity to the Asquith railway station on the outskirts of Sydney’s north. The school has a current enrolment of 346 students.

Specific Criteria
- Strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and our Vision of Authentic professional Catholic education delivered with care and compassion
- Capacity to plan and teach co-operatively, undertake responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing a specific KLA with classroom teachers to ensure students can achieve learning outcomes.
- Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner as defined by the Professional Standards for Teachers
- Knowledge and skills required in the effective delivery of Curriculum, Assessment and Pedagogy
- A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety
- Adherence to our CSBB Capability Framework
- Commitment to be an active member of the Catholic school community
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check
- Must be a 4-year trained teacher
