Lead a large-scale agricultural operation with a successful farming business
We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Manager to join the Queensland-based operations team.
This is an exciting prospect for an established farm leader to take ownership of a significant production operation and make a direct impact through strong leadership, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help drive performance across the farming enterprise while leading a team of approximately 30 employees and ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes.
The opportunity
This senior position is suited to an experienced agricultural professional who understands the demands of farming and has the capability to lead people, manage complex operations and deliver solid commercial outcomes.
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day farm performance while working collaboratively with operational leaders and farm management teams to improve consistency, efficiency and operational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management and performance of a large-scale agricultural production operation.
- Lead, coach and support a team of approximately 30 employees, including permanent staff and seasonal workforce.
- Ensure production activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to required quality standards.
- Manage crop programs from preparation through to planting, nutrition, irrigation, crop protection and harvest.
- Coordinate labour, machinery, equipment and resources to maximise productivity.
- Drive improvements in farming practices, operational efficiency and team capability.
- Monitor crop performance and implement practical solutions to improve outcomes.
- Support budgeting, cost management and operational planning.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, quality and industry requirements.
- Work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies and business priorities.
About you You are an experienced farm leader with a strong background in commercial agriculture and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment.

- Proven leadership experience across farm teams and seasonal workforces.
- Strong knowledge of crop production, irrigation, spraying, machinery and agricultural systems.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing operational costs and performance.
