About the Role

This is far more than a showroom position. As our Customer Experience & Merchandising Specialist, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every customer who interacts with DEJ Packaging.

Whether they're visiting our showroom, calling our office, emailing an enquiry or placing an order online, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.

You'll take complete ownership of our showroom presentation, become an expert in our product range, help customers find the right solutions, identify opportunities to add value through upselling and cross-selling, and work closely with our sales team to generate qualified opportunities.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on helping people and takes pride in creating organised, welcoming and inspiring environments.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Create an Outstanding Customer Experience

You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and play a key role in delivering the exceptional service DEJ Packaging is known for. Whether a customer walks into our showroom, calls our office, emails an enquiry or places an online order,



you'll ensure every interaction is friendly, professional, efficient and solution-focused.

Own Our Showroom

- Take complete ownership of the presentation and organisation of our showroom.
- Create eye-catching merchandising displays that showcase our products and inspire customers.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment.
- Ensure products are well stocked, accurately priced and professionally presented.
- Continually look for ways to improve the showroom experience.

Internal Sales & Customer Service

- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist customers with product enquiries.
- Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Recommend complementary products and identify opportunities to increase customer value through upselling and cross-selling.
- Build genuine relationships that encourage repeat business.

Manage Customer Enquiries

- Manage the shared customer service email inbox.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Coordinate customer requests across the business.
- Ensure customers are kept informed throughout their enquiry or order.

Manage Web Orders

- Process incoming online orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor web orders to ensure they are fulfilled within expected timeframes.
- Follow up customers where required.
- Help improve the overall online customer experience.

Support Our Sales Team

- Identify qualified sales opportunities from customer interactions.
- Capture accurate customer information.
- Pass qualified leads to our Business Development team for follow-up.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure every customer receives the best possible solution.

Become a Product Expert

- Quickly learn our extensive product range.
- Understand how our products solve customer challenges.
- Confidently recommend complete solutions rather than individual products.
- Continue building your product knowledge through training and experience.

About You

Experience We'd Love

Experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded:
- Customer Service
- Internal Sales
- Retail or Showroom Sales
- Visual Merchandising
- Wholesale Distribution
- Hospitality
- Business-to-Business (B2B) Customer Service
- Administration or Customer Support
