ABOUT THE ROLE
The Customer Service - Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role by assisting in the day-to-day running of the hiring department. No two days are never the same, this role requires the highest attention to detail & is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the equipment hire. A hands-on approach with the Workshop Orders team is critical, being able to support as needed by parking up machines and equipment during peak times.
The position’s primary responsibilities are:
1. Assist with the day-to-day activities of the equipment hire over the phone & face to face with customers
2. Always provide exceptional customer service at all times
3. The timely processing of Hire Contracts & all Hire Administrative Tasks
4. Supporting the operations between:
- Sales Team – Working closely with the team to provide support to ensure the utmost success is achieved every day
- Workshop - Working together to ensure all orders are fulfilled in full & in a timely matter.
- Drivers - Provide clear instructions to the transport team to ensure all orders are delivered on time every time
- Finance Team – Aid the finance team with any assistance they may need regarding hire invoicing queries, understanding additional charges and/or disputes

Desirable:
- 2+ years’ experience in the same/similar position
- Experience with hire software (Syrinx)
- Experience working within the Earthmoving Equipment Industry
