Sidelink Transport is one of Victoria`s fastest growing Wharf Transport companies. Located in Truganina in Melbourne's West, Sidelink Transport is proudly a family owned and operated business.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual with strong container cartage experience to join our expanding Operations Team.

Reporting directly to the Dayshift Transport Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective control and optimisation of our fleet.

Responsibilities include:

- Fleet control fleet of 35-45 drivers daily
- Coordinate daily fleet allocation, driver runs, and transport movements.
- Drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize driver runs throughout the shift
- Ensure compliance with CoR, Fatigue Management & NHVR regulations
- Reduce driver down time,



trailer hire and demurrage
- Communicate all delays to our Customer Service team

About you:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in container transport and fleet control
- Experience with Freight tracker preferred
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Positive understanding of transport operations, delivery windows, and route planning, etc.
- Good understanding of Melbourne metro suburbs & toll points.

Hours 5.30am - 3.30pm Monday-Friday (Weekends on monthly rotation)
