Creswick Dental Centre is looking for a reliable and friendly Dental Assistant to join our small, established practice.
Previous dental assisting experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential. We are also happy to consider someone who is interested in beginning a career in dental assisting and is willing to learn.
THE ROLE The position is primarily chair-side and sterilisation focused. Duties include:
- Assisting the dentist during treatment
- Preparing and cleaning the surgery between patients
- Cleaning, sterilising and organising instruments
- Preparing dental materials and equipment
- Following infection-control procedures
- Helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for
- Assisting with general practice duties when required

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or previous chair-side experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided to the right applicant.
The practice is located in Creswick, approximately 15 minutes from Ballarat. Hours and remuneration will depend on the successful applicant’s availability, qualifications and experience.

Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour
