Naptico Services Pvt Ltd About The Role We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to end-users across the organization. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure the smooth running of IT equipment and networks. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support to users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords in compliance with IT policies.

Manage and support operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and business applications.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.

Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of support activities.

Ensure timely resolution of tickets and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).





Assist in the rollout of new applications or updates.

Provide support during system upgrades, installations, and maintenance tasks.

Any other responsibilities as deemed fit by management.

Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1–3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.

Robust knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking basics, and Microsoft Office tools.

Experience with remote desktop tools and helpdesk software.

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
