Diesel Fitter/Mechanic (Major Repairs Centre) – Townsville (Full-Time) Hands‑on role focused on diagnostics, major repairs, and maintaining fleet reliability across a wide range of equipment.

Responsibilities - Diagnose and resolve complex faults across diesel and petrol equipment.

- Carry out major repairs that impact fleet performance and reliability.
- Take ownership of equipment quality before it returns to customers.
- Work across workshop and field environments where required.
- Wide range of machinery including compaction, access equipment, and earthmoving.
- Exposure to different systems, faults, and operating conditions.

Qualifications - Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen.

- Mechanical trade qualification Cert III or equivalent.

- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- Current driver’s licence essential.
