Description
This is a role for someone who enjoys making marketing work better. You'll have the opportunity to own key digital platforms, influence how we measure success and continuously improve how marketing contributes to business growth.
About Schoolbox
Schoolbox is the growth platform for K-12 schools — bringing learning, communication and wellbeing together in one connected experience. Trusted by schools across Australia, Asia and the Middle East, our platform helps school communities grow, adapt and lead with confidence.
With over 25 years of innovation, we're proud to be an Australian-founded edtech company on a global growth trajectory — scaling fast across international markets while staying true to our purpose: helping excellent schools grow.
We're a tight-knit, values-driven team that believes in purposeful work, real relationships and long-term impact in education. If you're passionate about using technology and data to build better marketing, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
This is a specialist role where you'll own the technical execution, optimisation and continuous improvement of our digital marketing ecosystem. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Marketing Campaigns Lead and the broader Marketing and Commercial team, you'll turn campaign strategy into measurable digital activity and use evidence to improve acquisition, nurture and conversion.
You'll help drive growth by:
- Owning Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automated journeys, audience segmentation, data management, testing and optimisation.
- Planning, building and optimising paid acquisition across LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads.
- Maintaining campaign tracking, attribution and marketing data across Salesforce, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Building landing pages, forms and digital campaign components that improve conversion.
- Developing dashboards and reports that connect marketing activity with leads, opportunities and pipeline performance.
- Analysing campaign performance, identifying trends and recommending practical improvements.
- Testing audiences, automation, paid campaigns, landing pages and conversion pathways to continually improve results.
- Working closely with campaign, content, creative, sales and technical colleagues to deliver integrated marketing activity.
- Improving marketing operations through better processes, documentation, quality assurance and platform capability.
What we're looking for
You are an experienced digital marketer who enjoys understanding how marketing technology, automation and data come together to drive business growth.
- Have 3-5 years' experience in digital performance marketing, marketing automation or marketing operations.
- Have hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including journey building, segmentation, testing and reporting.
- Have experience managing and optimising paid campaigns through LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads.
- Have a strong understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager,
conversion tracking and marketing reporting.
- Enjoy analysing data, identifying opportunities and translating insights into practical recommendations.
- Understand B2B lead generation, longer buying journeys and how marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue.
- Are naturally curious and enjoy solving technical marketing challenges.
- Take ownership, communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with people across marketing, sales and technical teams.
- Stay current with changes in digital marketing, analytics, privacy, automation and AI.
About you
Beyond your technical skills, you're someone who enjoys improving how things work.
You ask good questions, investigate problems thoroughly and want to understand what's driving them and how they can be improved.
You're organised, proactive and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You enjoy working collaboratively, but you're equally confident taking ownership of your work and following things through to completion.
Most importantly, you're motivated by continuous learning. You enjoy exploring new platforms, emerging technologies and better ways of delivering measurable outcomes.
