About the role The Corporate Finance and Restructuring segment of FTI Consulting provides comprehensive solutions in informal restructuring and advisory engagements, along with formal insolvency matters such as voluntary administrations and receiverships across a breadth of industries and businesses of all sizes.

Our team is one of the leading turnaround and insolvency practices in Perth, with a market-leading track record developed from delivering outstanding results for our clients and their key stakeholders in Australia and internationally, including on major matters with operations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. We work with corporates, financiers and other key stakeholders with a highly commercial mindset to deliver results.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for planning, supervising, performing and finalising engagements with responsibility for day-to-day activities of the team. You will manage day-to-day activities of engagements with minimal supervision. You will be assisting in identifying recent work opportunities and will undertake some business development activities.



Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is critical.

- Prepare draft reports, presentations and other deliverables for third parties, setting out findings and/or results of the agreed scope of work.
- Interact directly with clients, including lawyers and senior accounting personnel.
- Track progress of cases and monitor workflow of different matters.
- Coordinate and review the work of others and ensure the timely completion of tasks and engagements.
- Contribute to management of the segment through active involvement in segment development activities.
- Work to ensure a quality product, as well as deliver all work within established timeframes.
- Undertake business development activities and develop professional network.
- Project management including drafting letters of engagement, billing and coordination with client contacts.
- Work on proposals including budgets, industry analysis and FTI capabilities.
- Conduct staff training and coach junior staff.
- Actively promote cross practice services.
- Maintain professional image within the firm and project the same to those outside the firm.

What You Will Need to Succeed

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Australian or internationally recognised professional accounting or finance qualification




- 6–8 years of solid professional experience in accounting with experience in insolvency and restructuring
- Regional experience in formal appointments and restructuring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to draft and write expert reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse complex financial information
- Knowledge of the distressed market
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Financial modelling skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Detailed knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong work ethic and integrity and high level of professionalism
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmen
- Willingness to travel when requested
- Experience in managing teams and projects
- Willingness in developing own professional network through attendance and participation in professional organisations

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $118,500.00

Maximum Pay: $130,000.00

Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications
