About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Program Delivery has three clear accountabilities: delivering programs with measurable impact; leading and developing the delivery team; and representing HHTS credibly with funders, government partners and industry stakeholders. It's both a strategic and hands-on role, and you'll be the person who's accountable for how it all comes together.

This is a rare chance to lead a flagship national program that brings mental and physical health awareness to the frontline of Australia's transport and logistics industry, making a visible difference in the lives of people working across the sector.

About You





You’re an experienced program or operational leader who knows how to get outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You’re equally comfortable presenting to a government funder and rolling up your sleeves to sort out a delivery problem.

- Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering significant, outcomes-focused programs at a senior level.

- Proven track record managing grant-funded or government-contracted programs, including compliance and acquittal requirements.

- Strong external stakeholder and funder management – comfortable being a visible, credible face of the organisation.

- Experience leading and developing teams through growth or change.

- High EQ, genuine passion for the sector, and comfortable with regular national travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead national program delivery, ensuring all HHTS programs are delivered with quality, consistency and measurable impact.

- Build, lead and develop the delivery team as HHTS scales, including the Road Show team and broader program staff.

- Represent HHTS externally with funders, government and industry partners at a senior level.

- Oversee program budgets, grant acquittals and governance requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement in program design, systems and delivery.

- Work closely with the CEO to translate strategy into operational plans and team priorities.
