In your role as Director Planning and Performance you will provide leadership and direction for analytics and strategy within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, and specifically to the District's Planning and Performance teams.

The Director Planning and Performance is responsible for building the District's capability to leverage the use of data, analytics and strategy to deliver actionable insights informing business and clinical decisions, with the aim of maximising the delivery of high value, sustainable and integrated care.

The role is responsible for leading and managing the Planning and Performance Units, comprising a multidisciplinary team of staff with backgrounds in analytics, data science, programming, biostatistics, data management, health service planning, evaluation, epidemiology and various clinical disciplines. The Director will facilitate integration and collaboration across the functions and capabilities of the Planning and Performance teams and initiate and strengthen analytic and strategic partnerships across the District.

The role reports to the Executive Director Strategy Risk Planning and Performance.
