Forever Care Disability Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker (aged 50+) to provide one-on-one support to a female participant with a psychosocial disability in Guildford.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a friendly participant in her home and community while promoting her independence and wellbeing.
Support Schedule
- Monday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Thursday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic assistance, including cleaning and general household tasks
- Meal preparation as required
- Community access and social support
- Grocery shopping and other essential errands
- Providing person-centred support in accordance with the participant's goals and support plan
- Encouraging independence while maintaining a protected and supportive environment
Essential Requirements
- Female Support Worker aged 50 years or older (participant preference)
- Demonstrated experience supporting people living with psychosocial disability and mental illness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient and reliable approach
- Ability to work independently and follow support plans
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
Pay: $36.56 per hour
