- Competitive SCHADS Award rates from $40.00 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) based on on experience & qualifications).

As our services continue to grow across Sydney, we are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality support to participants living with mental health conditions, psychosocial disabilities and complex support needs.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting a female participant in Supported Independent Living (SIL), 2:1 basis.
- Assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, meal preparation and medication support.
- Supporting participants to engage with their community and achieve their individual goals.
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans, medication plans and individual care plans, including authorised restrictive practices where required.
- Using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches to support participants.
- Managing behaviours of concern using proactive de-escalation strategies.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and working collaboratively with the wider care team.
About You We're looking for experienced support workers who are passionate about mental health and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting people with mental health conditions or psychosocial disabilities.
- Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern.
- Confidence working in Supported Independent Living (SIL), community and group home environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A reliable, professional and person-centred approach to support.
Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Own Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Working With Children Check.
- 100 points of identification.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, Disability or a related qualification (preferred).
