We are searching for a Support Worker in Taringa for Community Participation

Contractor Position | approximately 6 hrs per week with relief coverage from time to time

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Support Worker to assist a part-time Highschool participant with Community Participation encouragement.

Role Details:

- We require support on a Wednesday 8.15am to 2.15pm with possible coverage of another shift if it should arise.
- Community Participation in engaging activities

Participant Interests: We are looking for someone who can connect well with a young person and help explore activities to encourage and support him in the community.

You’ll be encouraged to help plan and facilitate suitable, engaging community-based activities and encourage participation in household duties.

Requirements:

- Working With Children Check (Blue Card) – mandatory
- NDIS Worker Screening Card – essential
- Police Check
- First Aid & CPR




- Valid Driver’s Licence & Car Insurance
- ABN & Public Liability & Qualified Indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
