Based in Wacol, Brisbane - We are looking for a Draftsperson to join our expanding team.

We are looking for someone that works well in a team environment but is also independently motivated and able to efficiently manage their days.

Role Objectives

- Supporting our sales efforts; you will be an important part of the link between our customers & clients, and production & installation team— Creating detailed, precise cabinetry plans using Palette CAD software to turn design ideas and concepts into practical realities.
- Utilising high-end photorealistic renderings and showroom tools to help clients visualize and approve the final product
- Generating accurate plans, reports, material waste optimisations, and CNC-ready files (via CAM software) for manufacturing.

Job tasks & responsibilities

- Data Gathering: Importing plans and measurements into the digital design environment.
- 3D Modelling & Rendering: Utilising Palette CAD’s library (e.g., custom base and wall cabinets) to build virtual kitchens, vanities, or custom joinery.




- Design:Produce plans using key design elements to create cohesive and visually appealing spaces.
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with the production and design teams to ensure timely delivery of projects, and that specifications meet build tolerances and structural requirements.
- Client Approvals: Adjusting aesthetics, hardware, and materials in real time to secure sign-off.
- Revisions & Updates: Modify and fine-tune aesthetics, hardware and materials in drawings, based on client feedback or site adjustments in order to secure client sign off.
- Quality Assurance: Check dimensions and identify potential operational issues prior to construction.

Skills Required:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Cabinet Making industry and cabinetry design software
- Mathematical & analytical skills
- Understanding of spatial planning and design elements
- Problem solving skills that assist in identifying and resolving design conflicts before manufacturing begins
- Organisational skills
