Driller's Offsider / Driller's assistant – Gold Coast

We are seeking a motivated Driller's Offsider to join our growing team. This is a permanent local position based on the Gold Coast. This is not a FIFO role. Work is generally Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime when required.

Essential Requirements

- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willing to work away from home when required

Desirable

- Dogging, crane or forklift tickets
- White Card
- Experience in drilling, civil construction, earthmoving or a similar industry

Duties

- Assist the Driller with all drilling operations
- Load, unload and drive company vehicles




- Drive HR company trucks transporting drilling rigs, equipment and materials between project sites
- Handle drill rods, casing and drilling equipment
- Mix drilling fluids, cement and grout
- Clean and maintain drilling rigs, vehicles and equipment
- Assist with servicing and basic mechanical repairs
- Follow company procedures and site safety requirements
