We're mobilising experienced hard rock diamond drillers to South Greenland for a short, sharp exploration and geotechnical drilling campaign. Everything is paid for, include travel, accommodation, food, equipment etc. This program is critical to advance geotechnical designs and build out the geological block models. Geology is very competent granite that drills well with NQ2 bits. Duralite T800 drill rigs will be provided with 2 offsiders per crew. Drillers who take pride in recovery and core condition will do very well here.

Bedrock Geo Consulting is an Australian Civil, Mining and Exploration contracting and consulting firm delivering site investigation programs domestically and internationally. Our portfolio includes work on some of Australia's largest resource and infrastructure projects.

The program

- Location: South Greenland — remote coastal site, camp-based
- Duration: 6–8 weeks, immediate start
- Geology: Fresh to slightly weathered granite. Competent, abrasive, and consistent.
- Core size: NQ2
- Rigs: Duralite T800 surface diamond core rigs
- Focus: 70-90 Deg Exploration and Geotechnical drilling to maximum of 300m. Televiewer and packers may be conducted on a number of holes.

You'll be working alongside our geotechnical team and the client's representatives, with core logged on site as it comes out of the ground. Support for downhole operations — core orientation,



wireline survey and acoustic televiewer runs — forms part of the scope.

What's on offer

- $900 – $1,100 per day, excluding superannuation, based on experience and ticketing
- 14:2 roster (or similar) for 12 hour shifts with days off taken in camp and paid
- Travel days paid
- All flights covered, door to door
- Accommodation, all meals and living provisions provided — no out-of-pocket costs on site
- Standard PPE is required.
- 21 hours of daylight hours.

What you'll need

Essential

- 5+ years' hard rock diamond drilling experience, surface core
- Demonstrated experience on NQ/NQ2 wireline in competent hard rock
- Experience on Duralite T800, or comparable surface core rigs (LF70/LF90, UDR, Sandvik DE710/DE840, Boart Longyear)
- Solid track record on core recovery and core quality in fresh, competent ground
- Sound understanding of drilling fluids, bit selection and rod management in abrasive granite
- Ability to work independently in a remote camp environment, with limited support and long resupply lead times
- Current passport with at least 6 months' validity, and the ability to obtain a Greenland work permit (we manage the process and cover the cost)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Physically fit, safety-focused, and comfortable working in cold, wet and windy conditions

Highly regarded

- Certificate III in Drilling Operations, or equivalent
- Previous geotechnical drilling experience — you understand why the core matters
- Experience with core orientation tools (IMDEX ACT III or similar)
- Experience supporting downhole geophysics or televiewer logging
- Previous experience in remote environments.
